CYBER SECURITY FOR CORPORATES
Introduction
While internet is providing far too many opportunity to Individuals, organizations and nations in diverse areas, cyber crime is posing a grave danger. Some major crimes in cyberspace include identity theft, cyber money laundering, credit card fraud, child pornography, spreading virus, hacking, cyber terrorism, etc. The prevention measure should therefore start at the selection process itself. Effective use of the new technologies, like digital signatures, smart cards, honey-pots, Network intrusion detection system, cryptography, etc can safeguard the individuals and organizations from cyber criminals to a great extent.

It includes an overview of the essentials of computer networks and control systems, sources and types of attack, vulnerabilities, attack techniques and countermeasures. The course concludes with a discussion on cyber security management programs within an organization. An awareness of Cyber Law with recent case studies would also be a part of this course.
