NEW AGE MEDICINE FOR OPTIMUM HEALTH
The growth of various preventive approaches, and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) are widespread around the world. The seminar will provide information about the most important and widely applied forms of preventive and CAM therapies thereby enabling the participants to seize the extraordinary opportunities in improving their health and optimizing the use of self care approaches, while understanding and avoiding potential mistakes.
Goals and Objectives
The seminar will provide practical information to the corporate executive staff and other people of similar stature about a range of preventive and CAM therapies. The seminar will provide information in an easy-to-understand language, and approach the subject in a logical and a scientific way while preserving the founding theories of different approaches. Issues surrounding the effectiveness, and safety of commonly used therapies such as nutrition, physical activity, acupuncture, mind-body techniques (meditation, biofeedback), and herbs will be discussed. Information on usefulness of various therapies for commonly occurring problems such as chronic pain, insomnia, allergies, arthritis, womens health issues such menopause, PMS, heart disease, hypertension, stress/ anxiety, weight problems and other chronic health problems, will be provided.
Participants will learn how to prepare for self-care
as well as best methods for obtaining information in areas
of their interest.

Seminar Format
The format of the 6 ½ hour-seminar will consist of segments of a) lecture discussions with ample time for questions and answers, b) workshops and c) demonstrations. Seminar participants will receive a copy of a manual consisting of popular articles and papers written by Dr. Mamtani.
